Yahoo! acquired 33.4% of JWord stocks

Yahoo! Japan has released their acquisition of 33.4% stocks of AccessPort, the company which runs JWord. JWord is a Internet Explorer plug-in that enables keyword search on the Location bar of IE. With this acquisition, Yahoo! Japan SERP will show JWord listing results (“Regular Keywords”) as well as Overture’s listing ads.
