5 things you probably don't know about me
Lisa tagged me to post this 5 things meme. I usually don’t take these meme but since it’s been fun to read others’ posts, it could be a fun for you to read mine.

I play bass. I was a bassist and a lead singer of a punk rock band called “Cononut Crush.” We had 5 or 6 original songs and played some cover songs of 80’s and 90’s pop like “Hard to say I’m sorry (Chicago)”, “Can you feel the love tonight (Elton John)” and “Freedom (Wham!)”. We performed in 15+ gigs around Tokyo for an year or two. Oh, we actually contributed a song to the compilation CD released in 1998. It’s by an independent label and you probably can’t find it on Amazon or whatsoever though.

I was a member of Astronomy club when I was high-school and junior-high student. I can tell lots of asterisms and some star names on the sky, if they’re the ones seen in the Northern hemisphere.

I like Japanese fashion models. It’s basically inspired by my girlfriend but these days I just like them by my instinct. There’s no doubt Ebi-chan is great but since these days she’s everyone’s favorite and so I don’t care. My current favorite is Naoko. She is so lovely and the way she speaks is charming, unlike Ebi-chan and Maki. Also, she’s blogging with MT!

When I was in the 2nd grade of university student I was doing a part time job for O’Reilly Japan. I was basically entering and updating order information made by bookstores, and sometimes updated their website to add really small apps like contact forms. I think the code was “use strict”ed but was really ugly. I wonder if they’re still using my code in some places.

I was a hardcore radio listener. I was listening to midnight radio shows every night like until 3 or 4am. When I was busy studying for the entrance exam for universities (which is common in Japan), I came home 7pm, had a dinner and then went to bed, and woke up midnigt 1am and was studying while listening to the radio till the morning.
