"Comcast are retarded monkeys"
I cancelled their HS-I service two weeks after I subscribed, since I found the other service (VVD).
I called the customer support and they said they will prorate the fee of the first month even if I cancelled in the middle of the month, which sounded good.
A week later they sent me the bill for February.
2 weeks later they sent me the bill for March. I called the support and they said “ignore the bill and wait for the correct one.”
3 weeks later they sent me the final bill, but it said $145 on its statement, which sounds wrong. I called the support and it was printed before I returned the modem, so it includes $99 “model leasing fee”, which should be subtracted.
The customer support guy suggested billing the payment ($42) now over the phone, to sort it out, and I said yeah.
I told my primary credit card number (ANA Card USA) and he said “The transaction failed. Do you have another credit card?”, I said “That shouldn’t happen. Can you try with the # again?”. He said “it still says an invalid number.”
I gave up and gave him the other credit card number (BofA) and “it proceed without problems.”
ComcastToday I checked the online statement for ANA and BofA, and voila, my ANA card is charged twice, and BofA charged once. No wonder they’re retarded monkeys, Gene.
I called the customer support and they said I will get the check by them for the doubly billed statement. Phew.
ydnar had similar issues with Comcast last year.
