Music and LyricsSuggested by natsuemon on her post, and realizing that I wanted to see the movie based on its good trailer, I went to see “Music and Lyrics” movie in the Metreon.
Was it good? Yes. I’d give it 8.5 out of 10. Hugh Grant. He’s getting old but fun. 80’s pop. More fun. Drew Barrymore. Cute. Sophie’s older sister. OMG hilarious!
Only downside would be that the story’s kinda easy and so predictable. But I enjoyed it anyway, and got a soundtrack obviously! I love soundtracks of the movies, especially when the movie is about music.
According to Haley Bennett, the crazy but hott singer in the movie the soundtrack made #1 on the iTunes music store chart.
“Way Back into Love” is gonna be the top heavy rotation for a week or so.

Apparently in Japan it’ll launch sometime in April and the Japanese title is “ラブソングができるまで” (= “How Love Song is made”) which is awful, as usual. Oh and the Japanese website is really really horrible!
