26489445_2b1f079f59jpg.jpg Ingy has come from Palo Alto to San Francisco downtown, to get to SFO for his flight back to Seattle. We hanged out in town and went to Japanese restaurant for Sushi and Beer! We just hanged around for 3 hours but it’s kinda fun.

25592536_4a00a1ce8ajpg.jpg Finally I’ve moved to the very comfortable place: Oakwood. It’s in the back of SF MOMA and has two big rooms and big sofa like you can see on the photo. This is really great thing for me. The only thing I don’t like is they don’t have Wi-Fi. So I went to Apple Store and got a new AirPort Express. I should have brought one from Tokyo (which is called AirMac Express in Japan).

As a result of weekend hack with the new Google Maps API, I created a tool to Map geocoded RSS to Google Maps. It fetches geourl: geocoded RSS feed and maps items in the feed onto Google Maps. It turns out that Google’s JavaScript API is simple to use and sounds sweet.

Google and Yahoo! both opened up their APIs to maps in Where 2.0, which is very exiciting.

So, YAPC::NA is almost over now.
On Sunday evening (JST), I’m off to Canada for YAPC::NA. On Thursday I’ll be flying to San Francisco, staying there for 2 months for a (hopefully) very productive development at Six Apart heardquarter.
