神菜、頭をよくしてあげよう大槻 ケンヂ出発直前にNRTのツタヤで買った最新エッセイ本？ 2002-3 年ぐらいにかかれたものがほとんどみたいだけど、結構楽しめた。マジックマッシュルームの話ひっぱりすぎだけど。

Worst (sort of) beginning of the week
ANA Card USA changed all customers credit card #s starting today. Activation went well, but all payment information on their site is now cleared (apparently) and the schedule payment I made last week to happen on 5/1 is gone as well. I tried to make another scheduled payment on 5/4 and it displays my name “ATSUHIKO MIYAGAWA”. Something’s freaking wrong.- I cancelled the schedule payment and will see what happens tomorrow. If the payment doesn’t happen, I’ll make another one. OH, while writing this I got a confirmation mail that the payment I made on 4/21 is now making through to happen on tomorrow. But the payment’s against the old card # (of course). Wondering if it correctly goes to the new card’s credit. I won’t be surprised even if it doesn’t. - Tried to update credit card #s on bunch of sites that do me recurring billing. iTunes doesn’t validate my security code, no matter how many times I type. Easynews doesn’t validate the address line. after 5 times of trying I removed my apartment number and it went well. For Basecamp (37signals) and eMusic, I dinf myself not using these services as much, so I just cancelled.- Dermatology biopsy now charges me $285.00 with only $31 covered by Guardian. WTF. Trying to login to their site to make a payment and the site is not reachable.- The furniture I placed an order 2 weeks ago still saying “Will ship within 24 hours” since last Thursday. Not sure how long 24 hours are for them.Welcome to America.

インド旅行記〈1〉北インド編中谷 美紀いたって普通のインド旅行記。まあタイトルがそうなんだから間違ってはいないけど、インドというともっと過激なものを想像するのはなんでだろう。とはいえ１人でココまでいろんなとこに行くのは結構たいへんだったろうなぁとは思いますが。
草の記憶
草の記憶椎名 誠少年時代の回顧系に、作者お得意の謎生物描写（実際は謎じゃなくて言い方がヘンなだけなんだろうけど）が混じる展開。文体が主人公（おそらく作者自身）にあわせて小学生チックに書かれているのがところどころに笑いを誘う。

本などいらない草原ぐらし
本などいらない草原ぐらし椎名 誠タイトルからしてチベットとかパタゴニアとかでのエッセイ中心かなとか思ったけど、９２年ぐらいにでたエッセイ集の文庫化だった。ショートエッセイは文春の赤マントシリーズでおなかいっぱいなんだよなぁ。で、このタイトルのくせに中身はほぼ書評だらけという矛盾した内容。まぁテンポはいつもの調子なんでそれなりに楽しめました。成田＞台北と台北のホテルにて読了。

NOFX in Taipei
A few minutes ago I saw some members from NOFX in Taipei 101. I noticed that because one of them wore the “PunkSpring” T-shirt, and the other guy had a backstage pass saying “NOFX”. Apparently they played in Taipei and will do tonight as well. Gaaah!

Things I'll miss from Japan
So the short stay back in Tokyo would end tomorrow. I’ll fly to Taipei (I wonder why lots of my friends in America recognize it as China) on this weekend to attend to OSDC.tw conference. Since this was the first stay since I’m moved to the U.S. I’ve been finding a couple of things that I’ll miss when I come back there.
