Our Live Album Is Better Than Your Live AlbumReel Big FishThis could be one of the best live albums of the punk rock music. Reel Big Fish’s “Our Live Album is Better Than Yours” is full of fun songs and makes me remember their rocking show in Tokyo 4 or 5 years ago.

ただ、君を愛してる スタンダード・エディション帰りの ANA フライトでみた。もうオーセンティックでコテコテなラブストーリー。もうはじめっから終りまで予想したとおりに話がすすむのに、やっぱり最後は泣いてしまった。宮崎あおいすばらしいです。あと、エンドロールの大塚愛の曲はかなりイイよ。大塚愛好きじゃないけどこの曲は iTunes で買ってみました。

Kafka on the Shore
Kafka on the ShoreHaruki MurakamiI grabbed this from Garth’s bookshelf and started reading it the last Sunday. I’ve already read it in Japanese and am enjoying the 2nd read in English. This will make it a book to read on this Friday’s flight to Tokyo.
Upgrading Successful
My ANA flight back to Tokyo on 22nd and the one back to SFO on January 9th were on the waiting list and today they were both upgraded. ANA’s always been a source for “rant” posts but it’s getting friendlier to me in turn. Anyway, wheee!

Today I went to the party at kenn’s place in Hillsdale. I had a wonderful food like Udon and other very-nice Japanese food, with Beer and pretty good Wine.

5 or 6 years ago I saw a PV of Korean rock star Seo Taiji and found the music too close to KORN. Today I was surfing YouTube and thank god, found the video.
電車男 (Train Man)
IMG_0199So I went to the Four Star Theater with Lisa, Garth and Tien to see the movie 電車男 (Train_Man). It was a fine movie and apparently they enjoyed it too!

Pants Party gave me a ticket for the Me First and the Gimme Gimmes live at Slim’s tonight, since he is making a trip to Seattle. However I caught a cold and am damn missing the show! WTF!

Japantown
IMG_0188I went down to Japantown by Muni today. This was actually my first ride on the Muni bus (in my almost 1 year life in SF!) and I feel I like it since It’s easy and cheap. N-judah and 38 makes it really easy to go from the Bayside village to Japantown.
