Yesterday I went to the party at Kondo-san’s place in Mountain View. We had a pretty good conversation over there and among them the most interesting one was about “Katanaya-Ramen” in San Francisco Downown. Umeda–san adviced to me to go there in the downtown of San Francisco and I knew it was there but disappeared because they got replaced by some Pakistan/Indian restaurant.
Right Here Right NowI wandered iTunes music store and found Cloudberry Jam’s new album. I was like “Wow, are they still alive?” but after listening to the preview of some songs I quickly liked it, because the sound and melody touch has never changed since 90’s. If you like or liked Swedish Pop once, this album is highly recommended.
I’m picked as an interviewee on their “Ask geeks” series on Slashdot Japan. It’s a great honor and funny to see some l4me comments made by Anonymous Cowards.
I managed to get up till 11pm last night, while I went down to sleep for a couple of minutes many times before that. And today I woke up at 11am, which is totally usual for my weekend days. Strange.
So I landed the United States safely. Here’s a digest for the long 1st day.
I’m past the US dedicaded security gate. I have a liquid gel cream for my skin and they didn’t notice it.
so I made it.

I missed the Vox Launch party in S.F. and will miss Tokyo meetup this Friday, since that day I’ll fly to the United States. Damnit.
Now I’m moved to the new place in 武蔵小杉 (Musashi Kosugi). I wouldn’t spend that much time here, but this place is convenient in basic. It has 3 or 4 train lines connected, and it’s just 20 minutes to the central Tokyo if you’re in luck.

IMG_9755Today’s the last night in Roppongi, the most wonderful town in Tokyo. The decorations on the Christmas trees (Yes, it’s already Xmas everywhere in Japan!) is just plain beautiful.
Thanks to PantsParty, now I found my favorite venue in San Fransico: Slim’s. They have many rocking shows of my favorites artists like MFATGG, NOFX, Copeland or The Living End. Now I created a simple Plagger plugin script to produce an iCal file for the schedule, so you can subscribe via iCal or Google Calendar. Enjoy!.
よく利用する六本木あおい書店ですが、いついってもおなじBGMなのが若干気になる。
I’m probably just insane and will do moving locally here on the next Monday, to keep my stuff here while I’m away. People have suggested ditching everything and buy new ones when I’m back 2 or 3 years later, but that’s not what I want. I’d like to come back here once in every 3 or 4 months or more, and I hate to stay at my parents’ nor hotels then.
MySpace Japan is launching. Not sure what it affects to Vox.
GrinTerm of the day (ToTD) is the series of blog posts I write about the new terms I learn during my life from conversations with (probably Six Apart folks) American people. I did it for a while in my LJ blog and I think it’s good to continue it here.
