Riot on the GrillEllegardenEllegarden has been on my antenna for a while, whenever I listen to their song on cable TV stations like MTV Japan. They’re a Japanese alternative rock band (kind of emo + punk) and does really great tunes. I just downloaded their (probably first) major album “Riot on the Grill” from iTMS Japan and it surely rocks.
Rock’n Roll

Tokyo is again getting its craziness to become the hottest place in the world. Today it was up to 95 F (or 36 C) in the daytime. Way too hot.
I’m planning to go to Koh Samui in Thailand, sometime in the late September.

[this is good] is a great feature and it’s funny to see the coincidence with the funniest tag in Japanese social bookmarking site.
Dusk and SummerDashboard ConfessionalJust downloaded Dashboard Confessional’s new one “Dusk and Summer” from iTunes Music Store. So far, this album really rocks. Chris Carrabba’s emotional vox (Oh, vox!) still impresses me and the melody is so good.
ECW is back as part of WWE and I just finished watching the 1st episode. I love it.
IMG_7339In short: Too much beer and so time consuming fireworks.
Norwegian Wood (Vintage International Original)The flight ORD - BOS was great. Somehow my seat was upgraded to Economy Plus, or looks like the most seats in the cabin were Economy Plus styles. Anyway, a little more spaces.
IMG_6934Looks like there were lot of people from UK around there in O’Haire concourse. There was a stream of “OMG” after the penalty kicks. My flight to Boston is being delayed and I signed up Wi-Fi account here to kill some time …
So I’m in Chicago now for the YAPC::NA after-conference hackathon. I miss the Vox NY party stuff … I’ll be there next week though!
Big OnesI think mine is mostly the same with Mena’s, because I’m 4 days apart with her. So it’s “Best of My Love” (‘77) by The Emotions and “I don’t wanna miss a thing” (‘98) by Aerosmith. I like Aerosmith and don’t dislike that song, but it’s not the best ballade from them anyway.
Coincidence. It’s exactly the qotd I thought of a couple of days ago.
Lots of sleep, World Cup games and dumping stuff inside my head into slides. Actually …
IMG_6653I haven’t imagined that I can watch the World Cup football live in the United States, but I can. Thanks to ABC and ESPN for that.
